Consultancy services for FUNAE

FUNAE is hiring a consultant for the implementation of a project building engines powered by biodiesel produced from coconut in the town of Marracua, Morrumbene district, in Inhambane province. FUNAE intends to implement a project for the use of vegetable oil from the coconut pulp in a multifunctional platform.
The project — entitled “Increasing access to energy services through the installation of a multifunctional platform powered by coconut biofuel” — aims to benefit 143 families in the Marracua area. The community has great potential for palmar, a lack of access to energy services such as grinding and battery charging and has a local association that has been producing vegetable oil from coconut pulp. In this context, the FUNAE intends to hire an independent consultant for technical assistance and training in biodiesel production techniques from the coconut. FUNAE invites all eligible consultants to indicate their interest in the provision of consulting services.
Interested consultants must provide information indicating their qualifications to provide the services (such as brochures, a description of similar assignments, the availability of appropriate skills and a proposed methodology). The consultant will be selected in accordance with procedures defined by the contract for the hiring of regulation public works, the supply of goods and the provision of services to the state.
Expressions of interest must be written in Portuguese, must contain one (1) original and four (4) copies and be delivered to the address below by 3 p.m. (local time) on July 7, 2015.
The envelopes containing the expressions of interest should clearly indicate “Expression of interest in providing draft motor drive services from biodiesel produced from coconut in the town of Marracua, Morrumbene district, Inhambane province.”
